Isolation of seeds

The start of everything

In professional horticulture, collecting, drying, treating and breeding seeds is a complex and intensive process. Careful selection and drying are necessary for optimal shelf life and treatment against diseases and pests. When breeding, the environment must be as pure as possible to develop (new) varieties or species. These processes contribute to making professional horticulture more sustainable.

Opportunities

Seed bags are used to collect, dry and coat seeds. The seed bags are breathable so that the seeds can dry properly. If desired, the seed bags are provided with a drawstring. In seed breeding, mesh cages and mesh walls are used to keep species and varieties separate. Wire mesh cages can be fully customized. The type of mesh or net is chosen based on your needs; air permeability, UV stability, weight and installation.

Various solutions are possible; a mesh cage with or without construction, pop-ups, table cages or your own design. Equipped with zippers, eyelets, mud edges or velcro as required.
