With a growing world population and changing climate environments, more and more is also being asked of agricultural and horticultural environments. Changing laws and regulations also create additional challenges here. In various areas, the future use of plant protection products is under pressure. More sustainable solutions are increasingly being requested. Stimulating crop growth and development as well as protecting crops against all kinds of external influences is therefore an increasingly important challenge.
At Howitec, we want to contribute to this through our knowledge and experience of sustainable netting solutions and by working closely with research institutes, test stations, universities and interest groups at home and abroad. By participating in independent research projects, for example around new crops, insects or experiments with new foods, we enrich our knowledge. Valuable knowledge that we share with our customers and suppliers in order to contribute to further sustainability and to continue to develop innovative netting solutions.
