Howitec has developed the woven, lightweight and fine-meshed Ornata Light 2.0. Emerging pests in outdoor vegetable cultivation, such as leaf miner, potato flea, cabbage gnat, cabbage, carrot and leek flies, are effectively repelled by directly covering them with this insect screen.
Ornata Light 2.0 is also used in agriculture against, among other things, virus-transmitting lice in seed potatoes and against the chicory leafminer in chicory and chicory.
In order to use this insect screen even more widely against smaller pest insects, this mesh has been further developed. The mesh now has a narrower and more elongated mesh, hence the name Ornata Light 2.0.
Due to popular demand, especially from organic open field vegetables, we now also have this new mesh in smaller widths.
